Newcomer Australian songwriter and musician Hazlett has just dropped part 1 of his debut EP collection, HONEY, WHERE IS MY HOME, and is going on tour as a support act for Little Birdy’s Katy Steele.
Brisbane born Hazlett, indie singer, songwriter and guitarist has created a 6 track EP that sifts through themes of nostalgia, love and loss all in between sweeping ambient sounds and simple finger-picked guitar. His voice is mix of honey with a slight rasp at the edges, creating a raw affect that suits the themes of loss and love. It’s the sort of music you would listen to before bed, best served with nostalgia, and as Hazlett says himself, with a glass of red wine.
Hazlett disappeared to a little recording den in Sweden to pour himself into his music and now he has returned to his home country Australia to unleash HONEY, WHERE IS MY HOME to the world. Don’t miss out on hearing the ambience and honey-toned voice live in action as he supports Katy Steele of Little Birdy.
